Life is a precious gift, you really shouldn’t waste it being miserable.
One of my big regrets after finishing university used to be how I didn’t go travelling like I wanted to, once I moved out I started having commitments and when you are trying to forge a good career you can’t really dump everything and go. However, a few months ago I decided I’m going to save for a year or so and just take a break to travel.
From a very young age, I’ve always wanted to see the world. I grew up being one of those kids who wasn’t allowed to play out or go out a lot with friends.I guess it made me curious about the world we live in, I would spend hours and hours watching shows in different languages, looking at maps and reading about cultures growing up. If you grow up in London, it’s very hard not become curious about other cultures as you are surrounded by so many multicultural communities.
I’ve already been to Turkey, Switzerland, Amsterdam, Morrocco and different locations in Spain. However there are 196 countries in the world and countless cities I still need to see.
Despite my love to travel everywhere, I’ve managed to whittle the list down to my top must-visit places. Check out my list of top 21 cities I intend to visit below:
Tokyo, Japan
Palermo, Sicily
Copenhagen, Denmark
Berlin, Germany
Cologne, Germany
Seoul, South Korea
New York City, USA
Brussels, Belgium
Venice,Italy
Tuscany, Italy
Cayenne, French Guiana
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Phuket, Thailand
Gyantse, Tibet
Goa, India
Bangok, Thailand
Beijing, China
Guatemala City, Guatemala
Cancun, Mexico
Lisbon, Portugal
My list will probably grow the more I travel, but until then.
